Rise early for breakfast at Kahawa House, then embark on a scenic two‑hour drive to Tarangire National Park. You’ll spend the morning and early afternoon on game drives, pausing for a picnic lunch beneath ancient trees.

Following breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park—just a one‑hour drive away—where dense acacia woodland gives way to marshy floodplains and the alkaline lake shore. Keep an eye aloft for the park’s famous tree‑climbing lions and flocks of flamingos painting the shallow waters pink.

Prepare for a truly iconic day. After an early breakfast, you’ll enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the vast, green bowl of the Ngorongoro Crater, often called "Africa's Garden of Eden." This UNESCO World Heritage Site hosts a staggering density of wildlife: lions, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, and rare black rhinos all thrive here. Thanks to the permanent water sources and rich volcanic soils, the crater supports animals year-round, making sightings almost guaranteed.

Today is dedicated entirely to wildlife viewing with both morning and afternoon game drives. Depending on the season, you might witness parts of the Great Wildebeest Migration — a breathtaking natural phenomenon involving over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles moving across the plains in search of greener pastures.

Your guide will help tailor the day’s game drives to what you most hope to see — whether it’s tracking leopards through the riverine forests, watching hippos in the pools, or photographing giraffes silhouetted against the sunrise.

Awake to the chorus of the Serengeti at dawn. Today is a full day dedicated to continuing your exploration of the Serengeti. You’ll rise early and set out with the first light, when predators are often still active and the golden morning light makes for breathtaking photography. Serengeti’s vastness allows you to explore different areas depending on wildlife movements, especially if you are chasing the Great Migration (seasonal).

You’ll spend the day tracking big cats, witnessing thrilling predator-prey interactions, and marveling at the endless herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes. A picnic lunch will be served in the wild, allowing you to maximize your time on the plains. In the afternoon, you might explore different habitats — from rocky outcrops (kopjes) to river valleys where hippos and crocodiles lurk.

After breakfast and one last early morning game drive to soak up the last scenes of the Serengeti, you’ll start your journey back to Arusha. Today’s drive will take approximately 5 hours, passing through traditional Tanzanian landscapes dotted with Maasai homesteads, farmlands, and distant volcanic hills. You’ll stop en route for lunch and continue toward Arusha for your departure flight — or extend your trip to the beaches of Zanzibar if you wish.
